If (international) non-profit associations (hereafter: “(I)NPA”) could hold a virtual general assembly (hereafter: “GA”) has been a recurring question for several years. However, over the past years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an answer to this question was more than ever before needed.
During COVID-19, almost all general assemblies were organised as virtual meetings. Members have often found this easier and attendance was often higher than for physical meetings. Now, (I)NPA’s are re-adjusting to be able to organise hybrid meetings.
