How to join
We look forward to welcoming you to the circle of European and international Associations in Belgium.
It is a not-for-profit organization, has no political objectives and represents international associations from all walks of life.
Documents needed
Together with the application form (see below), please also provide:
- the statutes / bylaws of your association
- the names of the current members of the Board of Directors
- the most recent financial report
- the most recent activity report
You qualify for FULL FAIB membership if your association:
- is founded in Belgium and constituted on a permanent basis
- is not for profit
- has an international character
- has a stable financial structure
- pursues a respectable objective
- carries out the declared activities in practice (and not simply to exist in name)

- has an international / european character
- is constituted on a permanent basis in a country other than belgium
- is not for profit
- has a stable financial structure and proves honest acquisition , management and use of its financial resources
- pursues a respectable mission and no under cover of the one mentioned in the statutes
- carries out the declared activities ( and not simply exists in name only )
Why do we need these documents?
Our Admissions Committee recommends admission of new members to our Board.
It examines the documents to make sure that all our members are genuine International Associations.
